According to a long tradition, the residents of Artek have chosen the best films and the best actors as part of Vasily Lanovoy’s Scarlet Sails film festival. Well, adults still yearn for the founder of film criticism, Vasily Semenovich Lanovoy.
“We all became orphans after the departure of Vasily Semyonovich,” says Irina Gromova, head of the Kinogrom association and founder of Scarlet Sails. -Vasily Semenovich was like a member of the family, we were always under his protection. He was such a person that even those actors who generally allowed themselves liberties could not afford vulgarity on stage if they saw him in the hall: everyone admired him.
The main intrigue of the festival is the producer’s film, which the artists shoot together with their children.
Voting was stormy and ended late at night, making it very difficult to determine the winner.
Opinions were divided, so two winners were chosen.
According to the adult jury, the winner in the “Film Producer” nomination was the children’s camp “Ozerny” with the film “Artekhaus” directed by Janis Politov. Janis has been making short films with children for several years and this is his first win in many years.
And according to the children’s jury of the film festival, the winner was the film “Vendetta”, the “Crystal” camp with mentors Ivan Zhvakin and Natalya Gromova.
Meanwhile, the main prize that evening went to the sensational film “Cheburashka”. The picture won in the nomination “The most-most-film.”
Accepting the award, Sergei Garmash announced the continuation of the film.
“I promise to speak to Cheburashka and arrange for him to come to you with a new story,” Garmash told the Artek people.
