Diss track “Bzrp Music Sessions, vol. 53” by Colombian singer Shakira set fourteen Guinness World Records. The singer celebrated this with a performance on The Jimmy Fallon Show. She performed the single with an Argentinian producer and DJ Bizarrap. NME writes about it.

Shakira’s single is dedicated to her ex-partner Gerard Piqué. It was released in January and quickly became the most viewed Latin American song on YouTube. It now has more than 411 million views on the platform and more than 400 million streams on Spotify.

In the Guinness Book of Records “Bzrp Music Sessions, vol. 53” was positioned as the song with the most streams on Spotify in 24 hours (14,393,324), with the most views on YouTube in 24 hours (63,000,000) and as the fastest Latin American theme to reach 100 million views on YouTube (2 days and approximately 22 hours).

She also became the first female artist to debut in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 with a song in Spanish and the first female artist to reach number one on the Billboard Latin Airplay chart.

“I want to hug the millions of women who stand up to those who make us feel insignificant. Women who defend what they feel and think and raise their hands when they disagree while others raise their eyebrows,” Shakira shared on social media.

Previously, Shakira set a new record for the most monthly Spotify listeners among Latin American artists (and became the first Latin American singer to do so).
