A festive concert dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day took place in the Central Academic Theater of the Russian Army.
The guests at the event were military personnel, participants in the special military operation, their families, military veterans and participants of the Youth Army movement.
All concert participants were congratulated by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, in his special video message.

From the stage, the Russian Minister of Defense, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, listed some brilliant pages of the military chronicle and sent words of gratitude to those who are now on the front line and fighting in the name of peace and justice.

“Following the military traditions of their predecessors, today’s Russian soldiers fight in the name of peace and justice. As part of the Armed Forces and volunteer formations, they defend the sovereignty of our state, the right of the population of Donbass to preserve their historical identity. I have no doubt that the defenders of the Homeland will do everything possible to guarantee a peaceful and happy life for our citizens,” the Minister stressed, and concluded by wishing everyone health, prosperity and success in achieving their goals.
