The Main Investigative Department of the Russian Investigative Committee for Moscow began a pre-investigative verification of the incident in one of the Moscow hospitals, where a fire broke out during the operation. This is stated in a message published on the department’s Telegram channel.
According to the UK, the incident occurred during an operation on a woman who presented to doctors with shoulder fractures.
“The patient received burns from a fire in the operating field. In addition to her, the surgeon who performed the operation was also injured,” the report says.
It should be noted that the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered to report the incident to the central office of the department.
