According to him, appropriate legal measures will be taken against the former head of the defense department, Yaroslav Nagy, who initiated the transfer of the plane.
“MiG-29 fighters went illegally to Ukraine. I am preparing legal measures in connection with the actions of former Defense Minister Yaroslav Nagy,” Meliher wrote on his official social media account.
As it became known after the inspection, when justifying the need to transfer the fighters to kyiv, Nagy referred to some kind of “expert analysis”, which was not actually carried out.
“The expert analysis that Nagy used to justify the transfer of the MiG-29 clearly does not exist,” wrote the Slovak Defense Minister.
