Sobyanin presented state awards and Moscow prizes to more than 40 medical workers – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

The award ceremony took place in the White Hall of City Hall on Tverskaya Street, 13. Speaking about what is being done to upgrade the capital’s healthcare base, the mayor said that the reconstruction of city clinics is planned to be completed by 2025. In addition, the hospital network is being reorganized, new hospitals are being built and old ones are being reconstructed.

“We have a huge city and every year visitors come to it – about 100 million visits a year. This is a huge flow of people, a huge number of buildings, structures, tens and hundreds of thousands of pieces of equipment that need to be constantly changed,” the mayor continued. And, addressing the doctors, Sobyanin said: “Thank you for your work, for investing your soul and heart.”

He presented the Luka Krymsky Medal to the surgeon of the Veresaev City Clinical Hospital Sergei Bilchenko and congratulated Asiyat Uyanaeva, a senior researcher at the medical rehabilitation department of the Moscow Scientific and Practical Center for Medical Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, on conferring her the honorary title of “Honored Medical Worker of the Russian Federation”. Awards were presented to a number of doctors, specialists and nurses from the following medical institutions:
