He said: “Traumatologists, surgeons, neurosurgeons, cardiovascular surgeons and other specialists will be able to work on it at the same time. This gives doctors the opportunity, if necessary, to perform several different surgical interventions.”
According to Sergei Sobyanin, the center will have a total of nine multidisciplinary operating rooms. The facilities of the center itself are zoned to optimize the circulation routes of patients and staff, waiting rooms and 24-hour stays in resuscitation and intensive care will be set up, as well as communication rooms with doctors for family members.
The center is scheduled to become operational in 2023. In total, six such flagship centers will appear in Moscow, two of which are already accepting patients.
