We continue to present the heroes of special operation “Z”, participants in the fighting in Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience are highly appreciated by the Russian Ministry of Defense and the police units of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics.
Our heroes thwarted attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not useful for praising. The military is confident that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“When you advance, know how to retreat,” Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle, told the soldiers. And he repeated to the officers: “The unit gives consent. See everything.”
CONDUCT A SUCCESSFUL EVACUATION

“The service group of the military police platoon, which included the inspector of the military police platoon, Junior Sergeant Yegor Filimonov, performed the combat mission of maintaining public order in the liberated territories. The enemy opened artillery fire against the town. While on patrol in the populated area, Filimonov, being very close to the objects hit by the enemy, went to the place and began to evacuate victims from the area affected by enemy artillery. Thanks to Filimonov’s brave and decisive actions, it was possible to successfully evacuate people to a safe area without losses.
“Then Junior Sergeant Yegor Filimonov organized the defense of the area where the evacuees were located to prevent an attack by the enemy GDR until first aid was provided to the wounded and transportation to a medical unit.”

“Acting as part of an assault platoon as a grenade launcher, Private Evgeniy Latushkin skillfully destroyed the enemy, inflicting fire damage on long-term defensive positions. During the offensive, Evgeniy discovered an enemy stronghold and, choosing a hidden place for the attack, opened fire on the militants armed with a grenade launcher. Cleverly changing positions, he destroyed more than five nationalists. “The brave and decisive actions of soldier Yevgeny Latushkin made it possible to storm an enemy fortress, where maps with militant positions were discovered.”
