In the spring-summer 2024 season, the Sportmax team looks confidently to the future: bringing boiling white, concise and futuristic accessories, details and prints to the catwalk.
Thus, dresses and sets of very tight buttoned shirts and straight midi skirts are transformed into new versions of feminine “space suits”, while jackets, coats and naked bodies of the models are covered with weightless organza (we have just seen the weaving technique floating in the Prada collection). Also appearing here are chest pockets, alien-shaped bags, deconstructive jackets, dresses with turtlenecks (the modern heroes of The Fifth Element could well have worn similar ones) and those that resemble an elongated hoodie. In the latter, by the way, “the flowers of the future” are blooming, as a reminder of digitalization and the climate disaster. But at the same time, there is still hope, at least because of the central color of the collection and the life-affirming inclusions in the form of peach, soft pink, subtle blue and green.
