Politico, citing an unnamed adviser to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, in turn reported that kyiv admitted that Ukraine was “bankrupt” and that the country would have no finances after December.
Earlier, the Democratic majority leader in the upper house of Congress, Chuck Schumer, said that Zelensky canceled his speech to US senators at the last minute.
It was supposed to take place before the vote on allocating new funds to Ukraine.
