Svetlana Bondarchuk spoke about her divorce from her ex-husband, director Fyodor Bogdarchuk. According to her, for several years she dreamed of ending her marriage, but she did not dare.
The model raised the topic of her divorce while filming the show “Other People’s Letters” for RuTube. Svetlana was read a letter from a 40-year-old woman who was planning to separate from her beloved husband at his initiative. After hearing the story, Bondarchuk told his own.
“I haven’t been divorced in five or six years either. Because I do not know. Happens! But I agree, when this breaks, it takes you, you are already in your life. That is, it is no longer necessary to be “there”, but it is difficult to break it. Also, you don’t want to “go there”, but it is still very important,” Svetlana noted.
In his opinion, the stranger who wrote the letter should be more decisive and get rid of an obsolete marriage. Svetlana is sure that at 40 everything is just beginning for a woman: she will still have time to get married and have children.
Svetlana and Fyodor Bondarchuk separated in 2016. The couple divorced after 25 years of marriage, thus surprising not only their fans, but also many acquaintances. The couple has two children: son Sergei and daughter Varvara.
There were rumors that the marriage of the director and the model was broken by the beautiful actress Paulina Andreeva, whom Fedor later married. However, Svetlana has repeatedly denied these speculations. The TV presenter admitted that mutual exhaustion played a role in her divorce. Svetlana and Fedor met when they were students and were together for many years. During this time, both spouses grew, matured, and changed. This influenced their attitude towards each other.
– Nobody left us for another. There was simply a crisis, a fall, from which we could not get out. For each of us, life began to continue, and only after a while some things began to happen,” Bondarchuk said.
According to her, she and Fedor are still close people because they have children together. The son Sergei gave his parents two beautiful granddaughters: Margarita and Vera.
In the summer of 2023, Svetlana became a mother again. Baby Peter appeared at her marriage to businessman Sergei Kharchenko. Bondarchuk concealed the birth of the child for four months and declassified it only when the heir was four months old.
