The Warner Bros. Pictures YouTube channel released the trailer for the horror film The Nun 2. It will be a continuation of the Conjuring franchise directed by Michael Chavez. The film will hit theaters on September 8.
The tape will tell about a girl named Irene. The heroine encountered a demon in a Catholic school in France. Later, when Irene became a nun, the dark spirit found her again.
The main role in the film was played by Taissa Farmiga, best known for the American Horror Story TV series. Her partners on her project were Jonas Blocke, Storm Reed, Anna Popplewell and Bonnie Aarons. The screenplay for the tape was written by Ian B. Goldberg, Richard Ning and Akela Cooper. Based on a story created by Cooper using characters created by James Wan and Gary Dauberman.
The horror was produced by Peter Safran and James Wan, along with their Safran Company and Atomic Monster. The Nun 2 is executive produced by Gary Dauberman, Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Victoria Palmeri, Michael Klier, Judson Scott and Michael Polar. Tristan Nyby was the director of photography and Stefan Cressend was the production designer.
