On July 8, 2024, the House of Human Rights will host the award ceremony for the winners of the annual exhibition of artistic works by young talents with difficult fates, children and young people with disabilities, large families from all regions of Russia. The exhibition features 31 drawings and works of applied art, according to the website of the Ombudsman of Russia. The works of teenagers from new regions (the Donetsk and Luhansk republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions) sound especially touching.
The competition is being held for the third time. Over three years, more than 200 participants have emerged as winners. This year, more than 1,300 children and large families from 69 regions of Russia took part in the competition programmes.
“The high level of work gives an idea of the great creative potential not only of young artists, but also of family cohesion, the painstaking work of teachers, mentors and parents who help to master the secrets of artistic mastery and at the same time help children to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities,” the press commissioner emphasizes.
