Telefónica, through its subsidiary Telefónica Soluciones de Informática y Comunicaciones de España, has been awarded a public contract for 1.51 million euros (1.83 million euros including tax) to provide hosting services for processing centers of data of the autonomous organization of Informatics of the Madrid City Council (IAM).
This public tender is also linked to the transfer of the centers from their current locations to those provided by Telefónica and the start-up of the two IAM data processing centers in the spaces provided by the winning company, as shown in the documentation. . of the public procurement portal and collects Europa Press.
In this context, Telefónica will provide the hosting service for the physical infrastructure, storage and IAM network connectivity at the facilities, as well as the “remote operation” service to carry out “basic operations” on the infrastructure. On the other hand, Accenture has been awarded for 1.31 million euros (1.59 million euros with taxes) from the government, districts and autonomous bodies of the Madrid City Council.
