The own laboratory allows the Komsomolsk Refinery to significantly reduce the verification time of measuring instruments. During the year, the plant needs to check about 3.5 thousand manometers – pressure measuring instruments.
In order to pass the accreditation and to be included in the register of accredited organizations, the Komsomolsk Oil Refinery developed and put into operation a quality management system in the field of verification during 2022. And the laboratory staff received additional professional training in metrology.
In 2023, the company plans to extend the scope of accreditation to instruments for thermophysical and temperature measurements.
