Artist Bogdan Lavrinenko completed work on the unique mosaic icon of the Almighty Savior “on the waters”.
Lavrinenko collected an image of fragments of frescoes in the village of Krokhino on the Sheksna River in the Vologda region, which was flooded in the middle of the 20th century during the construction of the Church of the Nativity reservoir. The unique mosaic image of the Savior Krokhinsky, as the author calls it, was created with donor funds.
Volunteers who have been preserving the temple ruins for several years will soon give a tour of the “Creative Workshop” workshop, where they will talk in detail about the temple in Krokhino, and Bogdan Lavrinenko will talk about the work on the picture.
