“Today we go to this holiday and set ourselves several specific tasks that cannot be solved without the unity and solidarity of the patriotic state forces. The main and first task is to defeat fascism and Nazism that occupied Ukraine,” Zyuganov said. He also stated that for Russia to win it needs the cohesion of society, the development of advanced technologies and the mobilization of all forces and resources based on the great Soviet achievements.
The meeting took place against flags with the symbols of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Soviet flags and flags with the portraits of Vladimir Lenin and Joseph Stalin as a backdrop. People also came with signs that said “Peace. Work. May.”
