The night before, six defendants, aged between 15 and 21, were detained for two months. We are talking about two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation: murder for hooligan reasons (part 2 of article 105) and hooliganism committed by a group of people (part 2 of article 213), the regional prosecutor’s office reported.

According to investigators, last Saturday afternoon, after a sauna, a group of six people at the Lisikha transport stop started a fight with five teenagers. One of them was killed with a knife. The hidden young people were identified by employees of the investigative committee and the Ministry of the Interior. A criminal case has been opened. The suspects have been arrested. They have been accused. Yesterday the court opted for a precautionary measure, first for the main accused, 15 years old, and two accomplices, and shortly after, for the rest.

The older defendant, aged 21, is known to have been prosecuted more than once. Another four are schoolchildren and students between 15 and 18 years old. They are already involved in a case of theft and theft, are negative in character and are registered with the juvenile affairs departments, they told the court.

The teenager who used a knife in the fight is in ninth grade, has no criminal record and is included in the database of children who are in a situation of social danger. The student faces up to 10 years in prison. Accomplices accused of vandalism can be sentenced to prison for six to seven years.

The defense requested a relatively light restraint measure (house arrest) for defendants under 16 years of age, but the court refused to allow the lawyers to do so.
