The creative community of the WORLD, with the support of the legal office TM Defense, inaugurates the exhibition “Suzdal. Portrait”. The project, created by artist Irina Zatulovskaya, includes more than 30 objects in the city and its immediate surroundings. The exhibition will last until August 31.
A significant part of the works was created by Zatulovskaya specifically for the exhibition during more than two months of work at the MIRA art residence in Kideksha. The heroes of the project are the residents of Suzdal, who are transforming the urban environment: they are engaged in landscaping, opening cafes, restaurants and museums. The curator was Marina Loshak, president of the New Collectors Foundation for the support and development of modern collecting.
“We invite an artist to participate in the exhibition, who creates his own version of the life of the City, studying its history and current life through the people who left and are leaving their mark on the City. They are very concrete traces: the results we see thanks to his efforts. The artist comes into contact with these people and makes his efforts visible, marking them with his artistic statements. Thus, the City is sewn by the hand of the Artist,” Marina responds.
