The ban was initially introduced as temporary and expires at the end of March this year. Now in Prague they want to extend the restrictions indefinitely.

At the moment, documents for obtaining a residence permit in the Czech Republic are not considered for Russians and Belarusians, and the ban also applies to those who have a second citizenship from other countries.
An exception to the issuance of visas is made for those whose family members are citizens of the Czech Republic or the European Union. Furthermore, in special cases, by decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a visa may be issued to those persons whose “stay in the Czech Republic is in the interest of the country.”
