Why the monsoons? They determine the climate in our beautiful region: in winter they blow from land to sea and in summer, from sea to land. In early autumn, the monsoons calm down and dry, warm weather begins in Primorye. And this is the best time to enjoy the region’s hospitality.
Various venues, a rich and varied program, a mix of history, culture and sports – the event will become a highlight in the life of Vladivostok and will increase the recognition of the city in Russia and abroad. Its participants are representatives of the local business community (tourism, catering, manufacturing companies), sports associations, cultural institutions, organizers of educational programs and creative groups.
Primorsky Krai Tourist Information Center
– We present a great event that combines the extensive experience accumulated by our ICT and regional event organizers. Our goal is to open Primorye, its history, culture and interesting places to both tourists and local residents. This can be done in different ways, for example, through theatrical performances, cinema, gastronomy. This and much more will be presented at various festival venues,” explained Arseny Krepsky, head of the Department of Tourism of the Primorye region.
A characteristic feature of the “Primorsky Monsoons” is that each site will have its own “face”, its own program and its own name. Each of them will be divided into several functional zones. And each one will have an educational function. Vladivostok residents and visitors to the city will just have to choose one or the other and create their own personal schedule to attend the events. Some places will have longer hours, allowing everyone time to embrace the vastness and visit more different places and activities.
Festival “Edges of Millionki” (Svetlanskaya street, 10-12)
The history of Vladivostok at the beginning of the 19th and 20th centuries will unfold here. The atmosphere of one of the legendary neighborhoods of Vladivostok will be enhanced by the cuisine of Asian countries and a variety of master classes. Isn’t it interesting to touch the ancient traditions of “beautiful writing”, see the work of a calligraphy master and try it yourself? In the game of mahjong you can demonstrate good memory and strategic thinking.

Festival “Winds of Change” (marina embankment)
The ’80s and ’90s may be behind us, but their spirit and influence are still felt today. Fast forward to the years of our youth or the years of our parents’ youth. Let’s remember what gave us pleasure then and what we remember today with warmth, a smile and a slight sadness: disco music, bootcut jeans, flashy leggings, cinema, communication… And the 90s pop star It will add to the atmosphere.
Marathon “Running on bridges” (starts according to the chosen distance and ends in the central square of Vladivostok)
More than 2,500 people have already expressed their desire to go to the end. The athletes represent 138 cities of 33 constituent entities of Russia. In addition to the Russians, participants from South Korea, India, Belarus, Japan, China and Germany will start. In addition to running, there will be many activities that will appeal to all fans and support groups.

Far Eastern Music Forum
This is an annual educational and practical conference with elements of a showcase (evening concerts). Participants will enjoy open conferences, panel discussions and master classes. Practicing specialists of the music industry from all over Russia will share their work experience with practical cases.

Vladivostok is a city of young and energetic people who have inherited a bit of adventurism and passion for discovery, love of the sea and the ability to combine incongruous things in fashion, cooking, hobbies and the formation of urban spaces. Here they boldly advertise exciting events offered to residents and guests of the city, unique events that cannot be organized in any other city.

Festival (cinema “Ocean”)
About a hundred publishers from different regions of Russia will present their books to Vladivostok readers. A rich program with the participation of prominent writers and book specialists, lectures, presentations, meetings and even master classes on comic drawing – this is not a complete list of festival activities.
At each of the sites there will be a calendar of excursions, conferences, missions, master classes, shows, etc. The Russian Geographical Society contributes to the organization of excursions and conferences. This is the best option to get to know Vladivostok and Primorsky Krai better, to immerse yourself in their legends, culture and heritage.
