The Government has concluded the review of the allegations presented to the Catalan memory of the Housing Law, which has become two decisions: reduce the number of owned homes from ten to five to be considered a large holder and that the developers of housing intended for social rental are not designated as such. The number of homes will be reduced to five properties, he explained, since the allegation has been resolved favorably because the new Housing Law approved in Congress contemplates the change. These are the only two allegations that have modified the initial report prepared by the Government in June and that figures at 140 municipalities that are stressed areas where the rental limitation provided for by the Law must be applied. The minister has detailed that there has been a total of 50 allegations that used four axes: the impossibility of applying the Law in Catalonia; economic compensation to the owners; the consideration of social promoters as large holders, and the change in the definition of large holders.
