“Our task is to use an integrated approach to create modern educational spaces and develop the surroundings. Unfortunately, I have not seen a comprehensive strategy yet,” she admitted. “We lack a more secure position in school management. According to the directors, the builders will order the renovation, and this should not be the case, the school staff should be the main client of the project and actively participate in all decisions.”
Vyacheslav Gladov stressed that during the thematic meeting the existing concepts for the renovation of eight schools in Belgorod were examined, but the major renovation projects of gymnasium No. 2, gymnasium No. 5 and school No. 39 were sent for review.
“I liked the idea for school number 47, especially the interior, but polish the exterior and the result will be excellent. For school number 48, I liked the second version of the concept, which combines the colors white and green,” he said. The head of the region shared his impressions.

We can be inspired by the concepts we implemented in our “Bergantine “Belogorye” or in the schools where we carried out major repairs last year. The directors were very interested in the process,” said Viacheslav Gladkov.
The head of the region also drew attention to the project for the renovation of school number 29: the institution is named after its graduate Dmitry Murachev, commander of the movement division of the underwater cruiser “Kursk”, who tragically died in August 2000. Now the renovation project revolves around the marine theme, but expressed in paper boats.
“In my opinion, this is not bad, but it does not give the necessary idea of the strength of this brave profession,” said the head of the region. “We need to think more about the most successful concept. far away is that of school No. 49 – with good architectural and artistic lighting solutions and the Bauhaus style in the design that combines the functionality and practicality of each element. I hope that the management of the institution feels motivated to implement this concept in a way. quality way.”
The head of the Belgorod region instructed all those responsible to carry out qualitative work on the errors based on the results of the meeting.
“Today we come to the main conclusion: it is necessary to include in the capital repair plan only those schools where the management took a responsible approach to the formation of technical specifications and actively participated in the creation of the project,” Vyacheslav Gladkov emphasized. “We need functionality, educational spaces thought out to the smallest detail, and not just painted walls. Schools must integrate into their neighborhoods, and thus we will obtain a result at another level. We must always remember that all this is being done. for the future of our children and, therefore, for the future of the entire region.
