We continue to present the heroes of special operation “Z”, participants in military operations in the zone of special military operation. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience are highly appreciated by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Our heroes thwarted attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not useful for praising. The military is confident that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“They do not take cities standing; they fight with skill, not numbers; skill comes from agreement,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. He also repeated: “One minute decides the outcome of the battle, one hour, the success of the campaign, one day, the fate of the empire.”
MADE A PATH THROUGH A MINED FIELD
Junior Sergeant Evgeniy Burov
“A group of sappers under the command of Junior Sergeant Evgeniy Burov carried out a combat mission to break through an anti-personnel minefield equipped by the enemy in the vicinity of a stronghold of Ukrainian militants. During the mission, despite massive artillery and mortar attacks, Burov’s squad successfully destroyed the militants’ engineering barriers, opened passages in them and neutralized antipersonnel mines, allowing the assault unit to advance without obstacles, which was assigned an important combat mission to take control of a strategically important line.
The brave and selfless actions of Junior Sergeant Evgeniy Burov, as well as the professionalism of his subordinates, made it possible to break through the minefield in the shortest possible time, after which the main forces stormed the stronghold of the Ukrainian militants, throwing the enemy deep into the defending”.
THE SABOTIST AMBUSH DESTROYED
Sergeant Major Vladimir Bandak
“The unit under the command of Senior Sergeant Vladimir Bandak fulfilled the task of searching and destroying enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups in one of the tactical directions. Advancing along a certain route, Vladimir discovered an enemy group of five people preparing an ambush on the route of a column of Russian armored vehicles. Having assessed the situation and taking advantage of the moment of surprise, Bandak decided to engage in battle with the Ukrainian militants. As a result of the shooting, four Ukrainian servicemen were killed and one was captured. The brave and decisive actions of Senior Sergeant Vladimir Bandak, as well as the courage and professionalism of his subordinates, made it possible to timely detect and destroy the enemy DRG, while avoiding losses among Russian military personnel.
