We continue to acquaint you with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in the police units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, receive the highest marks.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“Insolence is not an obstacle for the troops,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he gave instructions to the soldiers: “Three will jump: the first will be stabbed, the second will be shot, the third the Karachun bayonet!”.
ENEMY TEAM DESTROYED
Sergeant Nikita Grigoriev
“Sergeant Grigoriev’s unit carried out the task of defending a strategically important height. Under continuous fire from enemy artillery, Sergeant Grigoriev, being at an observation post, ensured the professional operation of optoelectronic reconnaissance equipment and detected the movement of three units of enemy armored vehicles. Having assessed the situation and realizing that a breakthrough in the nationalist team would lead to heavy losses among the Russian troops, Nikita decided to destroy the enemy team with the help of anti-tank guided missiles. Sergeant Grigoriev, by skillful actions, destroyed three pieces of equipment, thus preventing his breakthrough to the positions of the Russian troops.
Thanks to the bravery and dedication shown by Sergeant Nikita Grigoriev, we managed to avoid losses among our troops and keep the altitude under control.”
JUST MULTIPLE A GROUP OF MILITANTS
Corporal Yakov Koltsov
“The main gunner of the mortar platoon, Corporal Yakov Koltsov, acting as part of the assault group, carried out the combat mission of capturing and holding the stronghold of the Ukrainian militants at a strategically important crossroads, near one of the settlements. During the battle, firing from small arms, skillfully using the terrain, Yakov personally destroyed a group of militants located at a long-range firing point. Advancing further, Corporal Koltsov fearlessly broke into the fortified dugout and took up a position there for firing. Having restrained the actions of the enemy, Koltsov ensured the unimpeded approach of the rest of the group.
Thanks to the courageous actions of Corporal Yakov Koltsov, Russian troops managed to seize control of a strategically important crossroads, which created conditions for the unimpeded supply of units on the front line.
