We continue to acquaint you with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in the police units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, receive the highest marks.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“In essence, there is nothing more harmful, and even more so: no one can be as cruel as sentimental people are harmful and cruel as a result of their actions. A person who loves his neighbors, a person who hates war, must finish off the enemy so that another war does not start after one, ”said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he taught the warriors: “In a field battle, there are three attacks: the first on the wing, which is weaker. Not good in the middle, they will squeeze you yourself. “A motorized rifle company under the command of Lieutenant Dmitry Bondarenko in the area of one of the settlements carried out a combat mission of engineering teams for defensive positions.
Despite the constant shelling, thanks to the competent leadership of Dmitry, his unit managed to equip firing and decoy positions, as well as shelters for personnel and equipment without loss.
The enemy unexpectedly, with the support of artillery, launched an attack on the positions of the company of Lieutenant Bondarenko.
Having assessed the situation, Bondarenko organized the timely occupation of equipped firing positions by subordinates in order to repel the enemy offensive. In the course of the ensuing battle, competently managing the actions of his subordinates, Dmitry identified the actions of the advancing militants, after which, skillfully using the fortifications and terrain, he began to displace the enemy from the lines that occupied Thanks to the competent actions of Lieutenant Bondarenko and his subordinates, it was possible to repel the enemy offensive, keep the defensive lines occupied, while inflicting significant damage on the enemy’s equipment and manpower.

“During the battle near one of the settlements under the control of Ukrainian nationalists, soldier Vadim Postnikov performed the task of suppressing firing points and destroying the militants’ armored vehicles.
In the battle, the unit, in which Vadim performed the tasks, made a maneuver on the BMP. As a result of the artillery attack, the infantry fighting vehicle was damaged. Having got out of the damaged car alone, Postnikov evacuated his comrade, who was wounded, from the car, after which he continued the fight. Having taken an advantageous position, the guard soldier Postnikov destroyed an enemy van with the personnel of Ukrainian militants with directed fire from a grenade launcher. After the Battle of the Guards, Private Vadim Postnikov quickly restored his combat vehicle to working capacity and evacuated him to the area where the unit was located.

“Corporal Artur Gevorgyan, as part of a Russian motorized rifle battalion tactical group, carried out aerial reconnaissance tasks. Piloting a small UAV, Artur discovered strongholds of camouflaged enemy platoons, as well as groups of Ukrainian nationalist enemy armored vehicles. Quickly transferring the coordinates to the command post, Gevorgyan, staying in close proximity to the discovered positions, corrected the fire of Russian artillery and carried out objective control of the destruction of nationalist targets. Thanks to the information received from Corporal Artur Gevorgyan, two mortar crews, one self-propelled artillery mount, one D-30 howitzer and a large number of nationalists were destroyed by artillery fire from Russian units.

“The commander of the flamethrower platoon, Senior Lieutenant Anatoly Zuev, as part of the unit, was on combat duty in the fortress. During combat duty, observers detected the movement of a large number of enemy equipment and infantry along the forest belt towards the positions occupied by the platoon. During the four-hour battle, personnel from the unit under the command of Zuev inflicted damage on enemy infantry with small arms, flamethrowers, and grenade launchers. Changing position as a result of mortar shelling from nationalists, Anatoly received shrapnel wounds to the head, left hand and right foot. He immediately received first aid on the spot, after which he continued fighting and leading the staff until the advancing group of nationalists was completely destroyed. Thanks to the courageous and decisive actions of Senior Lieutenant Anatoly Zuev, the enemy attack was repulsed, and the defense could not break through.

“Assistant shooter grenade launcher Private Andrey Kravtsov, acting as part of the crew, carried out a combat mission to liberate one of the settlements from Ukrainian nationalists. Moving along a given route, Andrey discovered a fortified enemy position reinforced by an infantry fighting vehicle and a tank, which he immediately reported to the commander. The group commander decided, using the surprise effect, to destroy the position. During the fire contact with the enemy, the grenade launcher was wounded. Kravtsov, having helped a wounded comrade, did not hesitate to replace him in battle. Having taken an advantageous position, Andrey hit the enemy tank with an aimed shot. Thanks to the decisive actions of Private Kravtsov, the enemy lost the fire support of armored vehicles, suffered losses and retreated, which allowed the group to complete the task and liberate the settlement.

“The artillery crew under the command of Guard Sergeant Khushbakht Panzhiev performed artillery support duties for the advancing units of the Russian motorized rifles. During the offensive, artillery strikes from Panzhiev’s crew destroyed the enemy’s manpower and equipment. As a result of artillery attacks led by Panzhiev’s subordinates, the Ukrainian units suffered significant losses and were forced to abandon their positions. A few days later, acting as part of a sentinel group, advancing along the forest belt, Khushbakht discovered three armed Ukrainian nationalists moving in the direction of the positions of our troops. Properly using the terrain conditions, the guard sergeant Khushbakht Panzhiev secretly approached the enemy, after which, surprising the nationalists, he forced them to lay down their arms and surrender. The data obtained during the subsequent interrogation of the captured nationalists made it possible to clarify the plan of the offensive operation, saving the life and health of the personnel of the advancing unit.
