We continue to acquaint you with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in the police units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, receive the highest marks.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“I don’t like rivalries, demonstrations, counter-marches. Instead of these infantilisms – eye, speed, onslaught – these are my leaders, ”said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he also believed that: “God is our general. He guides us, of Him and of victory.”
VROS WITH THE BATTALION IN YOUR LAND
Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Volkov
“The battalion under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Volkov fought defensive battles to prevent a breakthrough of Ukrainian nationalists in one of the tactical directions.
Being in the forefront under systematic fire from enemy artillery and tanks, Volkov organized defense in the entrusted area, distributed subordinate personnel in the possible directions of the militants’ advance. As a result of hostilities during the enemy’s offensive, the unit of Lieutenant Colonel Volkov inflicted fire damage on the enemy, destroying a tank, an armored car, a mortar crew of nationalists, as well as a group of Ukrainian militants trying to penetrate the flank. During the next mortar attack on the Russian positions by Ukrainian nationalists, Volkov led his subordinate personnel out of the zone of destruction of enemy mortars, and himself, being at a strong point, corrected artillery fire. Thanks to the competent and decisive actions of Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Volkov, it was possible to prevent the breakthrough of the defensive lines of our troops. The enemy suffered significant losses, exhausted their offensive potential, and was driven back to their original lines.
HE LEFT THE ENEMY AT THE STARTING LINE
Private Roman Ancaugier
“Acting as part of the tank crew, Private Roman Ancaugier performed special tasks to cover the state border. The armed formations of Ukrainian nationalists tried to break through the defensive lines of the Russian troops and advanced in the direction of the state border. Showing courage and heroism, Roman sent the tank in the direction of the advancing enemy and was one of the first to enter the battle. During the ensuing battle with the superior forces of the Ukrainian nationalists, Ankaugier discovered and personally destroyed two camouflaged enemy positions. As a result of the clash, the enemy, having lost part of the personnel and equipment, fell back to the starting lines. The courage and selfless actions of soldier Roman Ankaugier made it possible to prevent Ukrainian nationalists from crossing the state border.”
RESCUE SCHOLARSHIP UNDER THE BUNGAGE ROCKETS
Private Pavel Zhikharev
“Private Pavel Zhikharev, as part of a motorized rifle unit, carried out a combat mission to defend a liberated settlement from Ukrainian nationalists. Being in an equipped shelter, Pavel directed aimed fire at the enemy, destroying the manpower and armored vehicles of the militants. The enemy repeatedly tried to drive our military out of their positions and regain control of the village by shelling the positions of Russian motorized riflemen. After another artillery strike, Zhikharev noted that several servicemen had received serious shrapnel wounds and could not independently get out of the area hit by enemy artillery. Realizing that the delay in the current situation could cost the lives of the comrades, Zhikharev, having come out of hiding, crawled to the wounded colleagues, pulled the servicemen out from under the rubble of the bench and dragged them to a safe place. Pavel provided them with the necessary first aid, after which, after reporting the wounded over the radio station, he handed them over to the arriving medical personnel for further evacuation. Then Private Pavel Zhikharev returned to his position and continued the combat mission. As a result of the battle, the attack of the nationalists was repelled.
