Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Russian Ministry of Defense give the highest rating.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“If you love hot, be capable of cold,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who never lost a single battle. He also believed that: “It is more necessary to overcome the unpleasant news than the pleasant ones for comfort.”
FIXED LINE HOPS
Midshipman Evgeny KOROTKOV
“The technician of the communications center, Midshipman Evgeny Korotkov, during the conduct of hostilities, performed the tasks of organizing and ensuring stable and uninterrupted communication between the command posts and units of the Russian troops in the interests of the marines. The enemy, seeking to destroy the contact point of the Russian group and thus deprive the Russian units of command, launched a massive artillery strike against it using multiple rocket launch systems. As a result of the attack, part of the equipment and communication lines were disabled. Operating under fire from Ukrainian militants, Korotkov continued to lead his unit. Loss of communication could deprive command of the ability to quickly control the actions of forces on the battlefield. Midshipman Yevgeny Korotkov, together with his subordinates, immediately began to repair the damage. In the shortest possible time, the signalmen managed to restore line cuts, replace failed blocks and assemblies, restore damaged fixed and temporary structures, which made it possible to ensure stable and uninterrupted operation of checkpoints.
NEUTRALIZED 7000 MINES AND SHELLS

“The group of sappers under the command of Sergeant Yevgeny Kushnarev carried out the combat mission of clearing mines from the territory of the plant left behind by Ukrainian militants during the offensive of Russian troops.
Leaving the previously occupied positions, the enemy, in an effort to contain the offensive of the Russian forces, as well as inflict maximum damage on the civilian population and infrastructure, mined the facilities of the liberated industrial zone. During the demining, Kushnarev’s group identified, neutralized and destroyed more than 7,000 explosive objects and unexploded ordnance. With their decisive actions, professional training and demonstrated ingenuity, the group’s personnel under the leadership of Sergeant Evgeny Kushnarev cleared the territory of the industrial zone from dangerous objects without loss of personnel. After the demining was completed, the territory of the plant was made safe for restoration work.
