Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.

“The mechanical driver of the airborne combat vehicle, Corporal Andrey Osipov, carried out a combat mission to liberate a settlement in the hands of armed formations of Ukrainian militants. Acting as part of a battalion tactical group, Andrey provided fire and transport support to the paratrooper squad of the Airborne Forces, and also supported their actions with airborne and machine gun weapons on the battlefield. In battle, being under massive mortar fire, he took his combat vehicle out of enemy fire, changed his firing position in a timely manner, maneuvering between city buildings. Moving through the settlement, Osipov found a mortar team of Ukrainian militants in the destroyed building, which he fired on the advancing Russian units. Having assessed the situation, using natural shelters, Osipov, on an airborne combat vehicle, secretly approached the guaranteed distance to hit the target, took an advantageous position and ensured the destruction of the enemy crew. Thanks to the competent and confident actions of Corporal Andrei Osipov, fire support was provided on the battlefield to the advancing units of the Airborne Forces, which contributed to the displacement of the enemy from their positions and the liberation of the settlement of armed formations Ukrainian nationalists. .

Moving on an airborne combat vehicle in development conditions, Baryshev competently controlled the airborne combat vehicle, calculated the time indicators when changing the firing position, deftly maneuvered between buildings and structures, timely removed his combat vehicle from the enemy fire and also covered the actions. of Russian troops with the body of their armored paratroopers fighting. Moving forward, Sergey found an equipped enemy machine gun point, which blocked the advance of our troops with fire. Having assessed the situation, Baryshev, covering the grenade launcher with the body of his car, allowed him to secretly approach the militants’ positions and eliminate the machine gun crew with an aimed shot. During an intense battle, the enemy managed to hit Corporal Baryshev’s combat vehicle, as a result of which Sergei was slightly wounded. Having positioned the BMD-4 in such a way that it would not impede the combat movement of Russian armored vehicles, he provided cover for the military personnel of his unit. After that, Sergei Baryshev left the damaged equipment alone, helped a wounded comrade out, gave him first aid, and then returned to the combat vehicle and continued the task.

“Sergeant Anton Vorobyov, as part of the Airborne Unit, carried out the task of ensuring the safe advance of the main forces of the battalion tactical group to a given area. Advancing in the main patrol, Vorobyov monitored the road and the surrounding area in order to timely detect ambushes of Ukrainian militants, determine their composition, weapons and possible nature of actions, as well as reconnaissance of mined sections of roads and land and search for paths to elude them. When the column approached a dangerous area, where a concealed location and a sudden attack by enemy DRGs are possible, the squad dismounted and two groups of sentinels, using the folds of the terrain, covering each other, conducted reconnaissance. During the inspection, it was discovered that the enemy, in order to stop the advance of the Russian troops, had set up a well-camouflaged ambush at the edge of the forest along the road. Vorobyov, informed the major of the column about the discovered ambush, determined a safe place to stop the vehicles, and he himself took up a firing position with the sentries, indicated targets, firing sectors and entered into battle with the enemy. During the battle, Vorobyov’s squad blocked the actions of the Ukrainian nationalists, first destroying a grenade launcher and a machine gun, and not allowing the rest of the militants to escape, ensuring the deployment and entry into battle of the main forces to bypass. the ambush in the flank and rear.
