“We are clearly in positive growth territory,” he said in an interview with Foreign Policy magazine. “(The Russian economy) is doing better than we expected.”
Golinat recalled that his organization had already received criticism for its forecasts on the growth prospects of the Russian economy.
“Now everyone recognizes that these figures are relevant,” he said.
Recall that a week earlier the International Monetary Fund once again raised its forecast for Russia’s GDP this year: from 1.1% to 2.6%.
