Russian Investigative Committee Chairman Alexander Bastrykin held an operational meeting of the headquarters for the investigation of crimes committed by Ukrainian armed groups against Russian military and civilians in Melitopol.

It also emerged that a Georgian citizen, Ushangi Mamulashvili, known in the media as Mamuka Mamulashvili, was prosecuted in absentia. It was established that Mamulashvili created the “Georgian National Legion” in 2014 and recruited people from Georgia to participate in hostilities against the LDNR authorities. Currently, more than 70 Legion mercenaries have been criminally charged.
