Now Petersburg is dominated by a cyclone that came from the west. Due to its influence, today, July 3, will be the coldest and windiest day in recent times: thermometers will not exceed +20 degrees. Like last weekend, the city will be cloudy and rainy.
In St. Petersburg, until 9:00 p.m. on July 4, a “yellow” danger level was declared due to thunderstorms and strong winds with gusts up to 15-20 meters per second.
However, with the departure of the cyclone to the north, the weather will gradually begin to improve, Alexander Kolesov forecasts. The wind will weaken on July 5, there will be less rain. If in the first half of the week daytime temperatures will be +20…+22 degrees, then from July 6 they will begin to rise.
The meteorologist also noted that the rains that lash the region have a positive side: the probability of fires in the forests of the Leningrad region has decreased.
