The Russian Defense Ministry has demonstrated the combat work of snipers in the Donetsk direction in a special military operation.
“Reconnaissance officers of the Southern Group of Forces identified enemy firing points of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The coordinates were immediately transferred to one of the sniper units, which moved to a given square and destroyed the enemy,” the Russian Defense Ministry staff said.
At the same time, the group’s sniper with the call sign “Metis” was able to destroy two enemy snipers and emerged victorious from the sniper duel.
“This is a special sniper rifle, tested in more than one war. Its efficiency is always at the level. We punish the enemy who behaves recklessly,” a sniper with the call sign “Metis” showed off his weapon.
The military department reported that the waiting time for sniper targets in this direction is on average from 8 hours to several days.
“Concentration and endurance are the main qualities required by snipers, without taking into account accuracy, efficiency and foresight,” the Russian Ministry of Defense notes.
