The department noted that the subcommittee of the government commission for the control of foreign investments in Russia is interested in foreign companies continuing their work in our country.
At the same time, the ministry denied that Russia is complicating their exit from the Russian business and that the subcommittee is allegedly forcing them to reduce the final price.
“The evaluation is not made by members of the commission, but by an independent appraiser. The price can only change if the commission indicates an incorrect evaluation of the market value of a foreign company,” the report says.
In addition, foreign companies also have the possibility to pay their internal debts, according to the Ministry of Finance.
