Suggested Contacts is a new WhatsApp feature that consists of presenting the user with people saved in the contact list with whom they have never spoken before. Thus, the application hopes to facilitate the emergence of new interactions between users who a priori have never had a communicative relationship within WhatsApp, but who know each other.
When and how will the suggested contacts arrive?
The company has announced that this contact suggestion feature will be available through the WhatsApp beta update for Android 2.24.7.23, which can be obtained through the Google Play Store. Apple users, for their part, will have to wait until the company assesses the results of the feature and sets an official release date.
The objective of the suggested contacts is to improve and optimize connectivity and interaction between all users of the platform. In this way, WhatsApp will be able to build a greater number of bilateral relationships between all the people who use the function, substantially expanding the number of simultaneous chats.
