Norwegian Minister of Justice and Public Security Emilie Enger Mehl noted that the upcoming measures “may bring the number of (Ukrainian refugees) arriving in Norway closer to their number in neighboring countries.”
In the last few weeks alone, of all Ukrainians who arrived in northern Europe, almost 60 percent decided to stay in Norway. This flow must be limited and manageable.
At the same time, it should be noted that Norway has created good conditions for Ukrainian refugees. For example, instead of mandatory check-in at migrant reception centers, hotels are provided for them. This is very generous, noted journalists from the NRK television channel.
