The fire broke out Tuesday in the basement of a 16-story building that long housed a nightclub. According to local authorities, all of the victims were members of a repair crew carrying out unauthorized work there.
One version of the incident is the explosion of oxygen cylinders.
A hundred firefighters and more than three dozen firefighting teams participated in extinguishing the fire. 26 ambulances also arrived at the scene. The residential building itself, located above the club, suffered minor damage.
During the investigation launched as a result of the incident, six people have already been arrested.
