On September 11 and 12, on the stage of the Bronnaya Theater, director Konstantin Bogomolov and artist Larisa Lomakina presented the play “Summer Residents in Bali or “Assa” 30 years later.” The secular premiere was attended by cultural figures, businessmen and famous journalists.
The artistic director of the Bronnaya Theater created a stage fantasy based on Gorky’s play “Summer Residents”, which he called a “bitter play.” The heroes of the production are modern young people, the focus is on their novels, crises, search for themselves and the meaning of life. The production features actors from the Bronnaya theater group and guest actors Alexandra Rebenok and Igor Mirkurbanov.
Guests at the premiere were Vladimir Pozner and Nadezhda Solovyova, Ksenia Sobchak, Olga Sviblova, Olga Slutsker, Andrei Malakhov and Natalya Shkuleva, Lyudmila Narusova, Victoria and Oleg Shelyagov, Ekaterina Mukhina, Natalya Arkhangelskaya, Marianna Maksimovskaya, Sergey Kuznetsov, Alina Pinskaya, Evgenia Milova, Evgeny Zabolotny, Ivan Khokhlov, Darina Alekseeva, Anastasia and Tamara Vinokur, Valentina Yakovleva, Ksenia Kitayeva, Idris Gitinayev, Lidiya Chistyakova and others.
The production’s production and costume designer, Larisa Lomakina, used the 12Storeez brand collection to create some of the costumes for the characters in the play. Upcoming performances of the play “Summer Residents in Bali, or “Assa” 30 years later”: September 19 and 25, October 4, 15 and 28.
It was previously known that the first premiere of the new season at the Mariinsky Theater would be “The Demon” by Rubinstein. The author will be the director Elizaveta Korneeva. We talk in more detail here.
