The President of Kyrgyzstan considered it important to remember that Russian is one of the world’s languages and is used as an official language in international organizations, including the UN.
“Without it, it is impossible to work in the CIS countries,” Sadyr Japarov emphasized, adding that he personally has repeatedly witnessed how official delegations from different countries, whether in Europe, the United States or other regions of the world , they speak in Russian and translate it from other languages.
“I haven’t heard our children speak Russian since childhood,” said the president of Kyrgyzstan. – On the contrary, there are cases when students leave school and, without knowing a word of Russian, go to Russia. There they have problems with the language. Therefore, I personally took the initiative and asked Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin to build us nine schools with Russian-language education. Construction work will begin soon.
According to the head of Kyrgyzstan, today the vast majority of residents of the republic’s regions no longer speak Russian, which he considers a problem. “We need to look at the world more broadly,” said Sadyr Japarov. “The more languages our people know, the broader their horizons and worldview will be. Without Russian and the same English, our youth will not be able to go. Beyond the borders of Kyrgyzstan, we need Russian teachers, especially in rural areas, where Arabic names are very scarce, it is up to each person to decide what to call their children.

The head of the government of Kyrgyzstan, Akylbek Japarov, called on the Russian side to open in the republic its own bank or a branch of a large financial and credit organization operating in the Russian Federation.
According to him, this initiative was devised by the republican authorities about three years ago. However, the idea has not yet become a reality. At the same time, opening a Russian bank directly in Kyrgyzstan would be useful for the development of economic ties. As an example he cited the situation with the “World” card.
“We do not fear any sanctions,” he emphasized. – The service of the Mir system was not suspended by the government of Kyrgyzstan, but by the processing center, the control of which belongs to commercial banks. Furthermore, this was done without the consent of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic. But this card brought us more benefits than the Russians. In the Russian Federation there are more than a million of our citizens. Everyone used the “World” card.
