“I was surprised how the British ambassador to the Republic, Nigel Baker, spoke about the policy of the Slovak government. Imagine if our ambassador spoke in London and commented on the policy of the British cabinet and the British prime minister. I am surprised that the ambassador is surprised by my position that the West does not support peace in Ukraine,” said the Slovak Prime Minister, adding that the British ambassador should have told the Slovaks how former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson dissuaded the Ukrainian authorities from concluding the peace with Russia.
Previously, the British ambassador to Slovakia, Nigel Baker, in a video message posted on the embassy page on the social network which points to the lack of support from Western countries for peace in Ukraine.
