The Russian Defense Ministry reports on the continuous attempts of Ukrainian nationalists to advance in the directions of Donetsk, Krasno-Liman and Southern Donetsk. Attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine result in heavy losses among personnel.
The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov said in a last briefing data on the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the last day: in the direction of Donetsk, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost 210 Ukrainian servicemen in four attacks, in the direction of Krasno-Liman, the soldiers of our 15th motorized rifle brigade of the group of troops of the Center advanced up to three kilometers along the front and 2700 meters in the depth of the enemy’s defenses and, repelling four attacks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 190, there are more than 100 in Yuzhno-Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia, up to 135 in Kupyansk and 40 in Kherson.
In addition to the 675 mercenaries of the Kiev regime, our soldiers eliminated three sabotage groups, two American M777 artillery systems, three Polish Krab self-propelled guns, ammunition depots of the 66th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the 124th territorial defense brigade, an American-made AN/TPQ-50 counterbattery radar, as well as dozens of enemy tanks and armored vehicles.
Konashenkov noted that on the morning of July 26, the enemy resumed intensive offensive operations in the direction of Orekhovsky.
“The enemy carried out a massive attack with the forces of three battalions, reinforced by tanks. The brave and professional actions of the units of the 810th Marine Brigade and the 71st Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 42nd Motor Rifle Division repelled all attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The charges are maintained. During the battle, 22 enemy tanks, 10 infantry fighting vehicles, an armored fighting vehicle, as well as more than 100 Ukrainian servicemen were destroyed,” the lieutenant general said.
He also said that in the direction of Kupyansk, units of the 7th Motor Rifle Regiment of the Western Group of Forces, using the results of fire damage, are conducting successful offensive operations in the direction of Kuzemovsk and have taken more advantageous positions.
The informative report says that the forces of operational-tactical aviation and the army, missile forces and artillery of our group in the New World Order hit two command posts of the 21st mechanized assault brigade and 79th airborne brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the day, defeated 104 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in firing positions, manpower and military equipment of the enemy in 128 districts.
The Defense Ministry representative pointed out the combat work of air defense units that seven HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, two Storm Shadow cruise missiles and 13 Ukrainian drones were shot down during the day.
