The 33rd anniversary of Ukraine’s independence was “marked” by the Russian Defense Ministry with a group attack using high-precision sea and land long-range weapons on the decision-making center of the Ukrainian armed forces.

The lieutenant general also reported on the success of the offensive operations of the assault detachments of the “Western” group of troops in the direction of Kupyansk. There, our attack aircraft continued their offensive and also repelled five enemy counterattacks, destroying up to 50 Ukrainian servicemen, two infantry fighting vehicles, three pickup trucks, and three US-made M777 artillery systems.
Konashenkov also reported on the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in other combat contact zones: in Rabotino and Uspenovka in the direction of Zaporozhye, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost 110 Ukrainian servicemen in five attacks, in Donetsk – in six attacks, up to 125 soldiers. , in Yuzhno-Donetsk up to 230, in Krasnolimansky up to 80, and in Kherson up to 30.
In addition to 625 Kiev regime mercenaries, our soldiers destroyed in one day an ammunition depot in Verkhnekamenskoye of the Donetsk People’s Republic, a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group, five tanks, seven armored vehicles, eight vehicles, a self-propelled Polish Krab weapon, four US-made M777 artillery systems, as well as many other Soviet-style APU equipment.
Army and operational-tactical missile forces in Zeleny Gai, Mykolaiv region, knocked out a command post, a radar station, two S-300PS anti-aircraft missile system launchers and four ammunition depots. Artillery of troop groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed the live force and war materiel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 153 regions during the day.
Konashenkov highlighted the combat work of small air defense units, which intercepted four rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch system and 42 Ukrainian drones in the Donbass sky. Two other UAF drones were shot down over the Bryansk region and one over the Kaluga region.
