Experts spoke about the development of this area at the plenary session of the conference “Unmanned Aviation – Dual-use technologies in war and peace”, which was held as part of the Army-2023 forum.
During the meeting, the head of the Main Directorate for Innovative Development of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Major General Alexander Osadchuk, said that today it is necessary to coordinate the efforts of regional centers and manufacturers of multirotor unmanned aerial systems. (hereinafter referred to as UAVs) for the sake of “improving conditions for operator training, development and mass production of UAVs, integrated development and popularization of schools for operator training in the interests of the Northern Military District “.
The troops are interested in creating training programs for the training of operators and instructors. But at the same time, it is necessary to unify the production and software of samples tested in the conditions of SVO, the developers and manufacturers of which are included in the register of developers of combat drones.
During the discussion, the participants made presentations on the topics of interaction with developers of innovative UAV projects, best practices for teaching and using multirotor UAVs, and the experience of creating training schools.
At the plenary session of the conference “Unmanned Aviation – Dual-Use Technologies in War and Peace”, representatives of the 51st organization, including federal executive authorities, the ERA Foundation, Kalashnikov Concern, Almaz-Antey and other manufacturers UAV leaders.

The forum’s extensive scientific and business program included 260 events (182 round tables, 24 briefings, 33 conferences, 21 interdepartmental meetings).
1,023 doctors and 2,132 science candidates participated in the scientific and business program.
This year, 66 bodies of the military administration of the Ministry of Defense, together with subordinate universities and research organizations, as well as 56 organizations from other ministries and departments, acted as organizers of the Forum’s scientific and business program.
In total, more than 15 thousand people participated in the events of the scientific and business program during the Forum. Of these, more than 3 thousand highly qualified specialists.
