The Russian Ministry of Defense published a message from the Russian Investigative Committee, which states that “the investigation is establishing the date of the video recording, the area shown in the video and the circumstances of the incident. If the information about the inhumane treatment of Russian military personnel is confirmed, the issue of initiating a criminal case and the subsequent prosecution of the perpetrators will be decided.”

These are images published in the media, in which representatives of the armed forces of Ukraine sent captured Russian soldiers to a minefield in one of the regions of the special operation. It is assumed that the video was found on one of the electronic devices in the Ukrainian underground shelter.

“The Military Investigation Department of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Joint Group of Troops (Forces) organized a verification of this information. The results of this inspection were placed under control in the department’s Main Military Investigation Department,” the Russian Investigative Committee noted.

It was previously reported that Ukrainian soldiers cleared the mined passes with the help of Russian prisoners of war (Hitler’s soldiers also acted as civilian citizens of the USSR). Ukrainian prisoners of war spoke about this during interrogations.

Russian servicemen in Ukrainian captivity were given a choice: execution or the opportunity to escape to their own village through a minefield.
