Eiichiro Oda stressed that writing the script for the second season will take time and asked everyone to be patient. However, he did hint at the possible appearance of a new hero in the second season: a “great doctor.” We are probably talking about the character Tony Tony Chopper: in the anime and manga he is a doctor for the Straw Hat pirate crew. For the record, Chopper is a reindeer (duh) who can transform into a human.
The series premiere of “One Piece: Snatch” took place on August 31. The project, declared the most expensive in the history of Netflix, became the leader of the service in two weeks: until September 14, it was in second place among television programs.
The series is an adaptation of the anime One Piece, whose first episode was released in Japan in 1999. The anime, in turn, was an adaptation of the manga of the same name by Eiichiro Oda, which began publishing in 1997.
The plot centers on a desperate young man named Monkey D Luffy, who dreams of becoming a pirate king. When he was a child, he ate a magical fruit and gained the ability to stretch his body. He assembles a team of like-minded people to find the main treasure of all pirates: the legendary One Piece.
