31-year-old Nikolai Efremov fell from the balcony exactly a month ago and received serious injuries, fractures. A month later, there was good news about the first results of the treatment. Nikolai Efremov is an actor, the son of famous artists. His mother, Evgenia Dobrovolskaya, does not comment on her son’s condition, and his father, actor Mikhail Efremov, is serving a sentence for a fatal accident he committed while intoxicated. Therefore, there was a lot of unreliable information, and the news about the state of Nikolai Efremov after the emergency should be learned from the stories of other artists.
Nikolai Efremov fell from the balcony of his Moscow apartment, located on the third floor of an apartment building on Proletarskaya Street. The neighbors were asleep and didn’t hear a thing. The wife and daughter were not at home. At about five in the morning, a passerby discovered Efremov on the ground under the balcony of the house; he called the ambulance. Later, the man was conscious and managed to report that he was home alone and fell himself, by accident. Nikolai Efremov received serious injuries: complex fractures of the pelvis and right thigh, a fracture of the elbow, there was a lot of blood loss due to a damaged artery and a large intra-abdominal hematoma. Due to fractures and extensive blood loss, serious complications developed. The patient was admitted to the intensive care unit, where he remained for just under three weeks. During this time, Nikolai underwent various planned and emergency operations. He then he was transferred from the intensive care unit to the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics.
Families we knew told us: “The planned rehabilitation has started according to a specially designed schedule. One thing is certain so far: the recovery will be long.” Now Nikolai has daily classes with medical specialists, rehabilitation specialists and a psychologist. A man under the supervision of a doctor performs special exercises. The initial process will take at least six months, everyone hopes that Efremov will be able to walk on his own and eventually return to a full life.
