Warner Bros. has released the official trailer for Wonka, which stars Timothée Chalamet as the eccentric chocolatier. Variety writes about it.
Paul King’s film tells of Willy Wonka’s youth and how he became the owner of a chocolate factory. In addition to starring Timothée Chalamet, the film stars Rowan Atkinson, Olivia Colman, Sally Hawkins, and Hugh Grant. The latter, judging by the trailer, got the role of Oompa-Loompa – a representative of a fictional tribe of pygmies working at Willy’s factory. The film will be released on December 15.
