The film is a prequel and will tell the story of Optimus Prime and Megatron.
Directed by Oscar winner Josh Cooley (Inside Out, Toy Story 4). The original voice cast included Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth (Optimus Prime), Jon Hamm, Steve Buscemi, Keegan-Michael Key (Bumblebee), Brian Tyree Henry (Megatron), and Laurence Fishburne.
The project has entered post-production and will premiere in September.
