The Ministry of Finance and Public Function seeks to ensure that no illegalities occur in the money exchange process, which is why it monitors that transactions comply with the law. To avoid being penalized, you must keep in mind that there is a maximum number of movements established per day and a money limit. If there is a fixed tax to carry out a maximum of movements per day, or a maximum to send, whether daily, weekly, monthly or even annually, and these people do not comply with these requirements, they will be fined according to the situation or the point they have not complied. As article 6.1 of the Civil Code explains: “Ignorance of the laws does not excuse compliance”, or in other words, people must stay informed of any changes or procedures related to this case. Otherwise, no person who is not aware will be acquitted solely on this basis.
What is the maximum amount allowed by the Treasury in transfers?
According to Law 10/2010, of April 28, on the prevention of money laundering and the financing of terrorism, it highlights a limit for sending money in transfers that, in some cases, is not coordinated with the different banks, since Transfers of up to 10,000 euros can be made, but in the event that they are transfers by online order, they must not exceed 6,000 euros.
