“The Department of Defense is announcing additional security assistance to Ukraine, including a PDA package worth up to $150 million,” the defense department said in a statement.
The Ukrainian military will also receive interceptors for air defense systems worth about $2.2 billion.
The total cost of the aid package, according to the Pentagon, will be $2.35 billion.
It is specified that the package will include missiles for HAWK air defense systems, ammunition for HIMARS RZSO, 155 and 105 mm artillery shells, mortar shells, TOW missiles, Javelin and AT-4 complexes, as well as other weapons.
